While we may may not be as cuddly as the dogs etc, you might like to know a bit more about us

Richard
For a man who didn't want huskies, Richard has made quite a remarkable U-turn. Currently nursing in the local hospital, running the dogs has been an amazing way to keep fit, destress and an outlet for his competitive streak. Initailly we competed in the 2 dog class with Ghost and Zillah but have graduated to 3 and 4 dog classes with the addition of Pagan and Reef. Richard has competed with SHCGB, ABSA and AMWA whilst living down south, more recently he has competed with SSHC and SDAS.

Dawn
Dawn embodies the spirit of SalvaMea. She loves all our dogs....and everyone elses! Dawn trains and races the huskies, but is just as happy on a leisurely walk/drag with the team. Dawn has been the driving force that keeps SalvaMea going forward. With many interests including gardening, chicken rearing, producing our own range of "From the Mill" products. Her next project is to set up a hive on our land and produce honey from home.

Sam
Sam has several wins in Junior races under his belt already, but recently has been more interested in snakes and other animals than the pesky huskies. We are lucky that Sam is so tolerant of us and the dogs.Archery is Sam's newest hobby and makes a contrast with his expertise on all computer consoles. Sam is also the proud owner of Lenny the whippet.

Bella
Living down south, Bella loves her visits to Scotland. Has been known to milk the goats and collect eggs, she also loves the dogs....but not so sure about Tallulah and Dellilah the tarantulas. Bella's shiny pirate wellies sum up her ability to bring a bit of glamour to the highlands!

Luke
Luke has raced and handled for our team over the years. Now living down south Luke has matured into a remarkable young man. Currently studying to become a plumber, he visits often. Often taking the opportunity for a lay-in on his visits !! We are currently fostering Lukes royal python , Indie.
Sinead
Sinead loves the huskies but hates the fur!! A little nervous on a rig, but always happy for a husky snuggle. Sinead brings a sense of style with matching outfit and dog when walking. Always working hard at college and her job, Sinead is happy to chill out by the fire with us in Scotland. Sinead is hoping to study Politics and Sociology at Brighton University.
